Through “From Waste to Worth: How VIPA Turns Sustainability into Strategy”, students explored how strategic management, leadership, and ethical governance can transform sustainability into long-term business success.
Our business students had the opportunity to engage with Theodoros Panagiotopoulos, People Operations Manager, and Dimitra Karathanasi, HR Business Partner at VIPA Greece, in two inspiring sessions held on 4 and 6 November 2025 across our Thessaloniki Campus.

Through “From Waste to Worth: How VIPA Turns Sustainability into Strategy”, students explored how strategic management, leadership, and ethical governance can transform sustainability into long-term business success. The discussions illustrated how VIPA applies the core management functions, showcasing innovation, diversity, and ethics as engines of competitiveness.

These events exemplified the bridge between classroom learning and real-world management practice, under the Principles of Management module led by Dr Giovanni Oscar Serafini.

A warm thank you to our speakers and to our students for their engagement and thoughtful questions throughout both sessions!
