Accessible Computer Facilities for Study, Collaboration, and Research

Computer laboratories are designed to meet academic needs, offering students and staff reliable access to advanced computing resources and collaborative learning environments. Labs are equipped to foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.

Wireless Connectivity across the campus

Campus-Wide Wi-Fi: A robust wireless network covers the entire premises, including all computer labs, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for personal devices and lab workstations alike.

Locations & Rooms

Computer facilities are available across our premises in Thessaloniki and Athens, supporting students and staff in their academic and research activities. Computers can be accessed in dedicated computer labs, the library, research laboratories, as well as in student group study spaces and project rooms within the library—ensuring a consistent and supportive digital learning environment across locations.

Audio-Visual Equipment

Video Projection: Labs feature a high-definition video projector for delivering lecture presentations.

Hardware and Network Connectivity

  • Internet Access: All workstations are connected to high-speed Internet, enabling seamless research, online collaboration, and access to cloud-based services.
  • Desktop Systems: The majority of the computers run on a Windows-based operating system, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of academic and industry-standard applications.
  • Peripheral Devices: Each laboratory is equipped with laser printers, allowing for efficient, high-quality document printing.

Software Environment

  • Licensed and Open-Source Applications: All PCs come pre-installed with the necessary licensed software for curricular modules, along with a selection of open-source tools to support additional academic and everyday tasks.
  • Maintenance and Updates: The Computing Support Services Office regularly updates all software to ensure security, stability, and the latest feature support.
