Students from the University of York, UK and from York Europe Campus, Greece, present their academic research
On 7 May 2026, the University of York Europe Campus successfully hosted the Student Spring Symposium at its main campus in Thessaloniki bringing together more than 250 students and staff for a full day of academic presentations and project showcases.

The event featured participation from students of the University of York School for Business and Society, who travelled specifically for the occasion, enhancing knowledge exchange and the international character of the event.

Supported by 30 student-volunteers the symposium included 43 presenters, both in person and online, delivered across two parallel sessions covering a wide range of research topics and innovative ideas. At the same time, Computer Science students showcased their final-year projects offering attendees the opportunity to explore practical applications, software development, and technological innovation created by students.

The event highlighted the University’s strong culture of student research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic engagement.
