Students and staff celebrated spring at Galini Campus
Students and staff of the University of York Europe Campus came together to celebrate spring at the new Galini Campus during a vibrant and joyful Spring Fest – the very first Spring Fest held at the campus – filled with activities, music, and community spirit.

The event transformed the campus into a lively gathering space where attendees enjoyed a BBQ, painting activities, board games, football, basketball, and music throughout the day. The atmosphere was filled with energy, creativity, and opportunities for students and staff to connect outside the classroom.

A special highlight of the event was the recognition of students who achieved a place on the Head’s List, with certificates awarded in acknowledgment of their academic excellence and dedication.

The University was also pleased to welcome Stray Planet, who contributed to the festive atmosphere while promoting the important message of supporting stray animals. In addition, representatives from the Mentbest research project participated with an informative stand focused on mental health awareness.

Spring Fest brought together members of the community to celebrate the season, student achievement, and campus life in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
