Research Projects

Through the work of our academic community and dedicated research centres, we have successfully led and participated in a wide range of funded projects supported by various national and international organizations.

Our research projects

Below you can explore a selection of our ongoing and completed research projects, reflecting our commitment to advancing research in our region and beyond.
CLARIFAI

CLARIFAI

CLARIFAI aims to support startups and innovation actors in understanding, assessing, and improving the societal and sustainability impact of their activities. To achieve this, the project is developing TAU20, an AI-assisted digital tool that collects and analyses publicly available information on startups, maps their activities against the Sustainable Development Goals and relevant impact metrics, and supports a more structured assessment of responsible innovation practices.

Within the project, SEERC contributes by complementing TAU20 with appropriate indicators that assess not only what impact a startup creates, but also how responsibly it innovates. These indicators are intended to help startup entrepreneurs reflect on their innovation processes and guide them towards more anticipatory, inclusive, reflexive, and responsive forms of innovation. Through this work, SEERC helps ensure that CLARIFAI’s outputs are both methodologically robust and practically relevant for startups, innovation intermediaries, and wider entrepreneurial ecosystems.
