Students from the Psychology Department recently had the opportunity to engage with IASISMED NGO and learn about its impactful initiatives supporting mental health in Greece. The session also introduced students to ways they can get involved, including volunteering and internship programmes.
Ms Angeliki Chrysostomidou, Day Centre Coordinator at Iasis At Work and Psychologist, and Ms Artemis Stefanidou, Psychologist and Volunteer Coordinator at Connect Thessaloniki, delivered an informative and engaging session that inspired students to consider meaningful ways to apply their skills in the community.

Adding an industry perspective, Dr Giovanni Serafini, Associate Professor in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at our School of Business, shared valuable insights on career opportunities for psychology graduates, particularly in the field of human resource management.
The event was organised collaboratively by the Career, Employability and Enterprise Centre and the Psychology Department, demonstrating the University’s commitment to connecting academic learning with practical experience and career development.
