Dr. Vicky Papachristou holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Master of Arts in Phonetics from University College London (UK), and a Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics (Applied Phonetics) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She has taught courses in Phonetics and Phonology, Second/Foreign Language Acquisition, and Language Teaching Methodology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research activities include conducting and supervising studies in the areas of Phonetics, pronunciation instruction, English Language Teaching (ELT), and teacher identity. She has presented her work and participated in numerous academic events—such as conferences, symposia, and seminars—across Europe. Additionally, she has served as a peer reviewer for scholarly journals within the field of Linguistics. She currently holds the position of Vice Chair of TESOL Macedonia-Thrace, Northern Greece.
