Vasiliki Papadouli holds a PhD in Private Law from the School of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (awarded with Summa cum laude distinction, 2021). Throughout the entirety of her doctoral studies, she was the recipient of a scholarship granted by the Academy of Athens. She also holds a Postgraduate Degree of Specialisation in Civil Law, Civil Procedural Law, and Labour Law (2016), and an undergraduate degree from the Department of Law of the School of Legal, Economic, and Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2013).

Since 2022, she has been conducting postdoctoral research in Law and New Technologies at the School of Law and Criminology, Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

She has taught Civil Law and Labour Law in the undergraduate programme of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Athens University of Economics and Business (2022–2023); Civil Law, Commercial and Economic Law, and Tax Law in the undergraduate programme of the Department of Economics of the International Hellenic University (2023–2025); Law and Artificial Intelligence in the English-language Postgraduate Programme “European Business Law and Economic Law” of the School of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2023); and Consumer Protection Law in the undergraduate programme of the School of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2025).

Since 2025, she has served as an Associate Academic Staff Member at the Open University of Cyprus, where she teaches Law of Contracts and Law of Torts.

She has been honoured with the Award for Outstanding Teaching Performance at the International Hellenic University for the academic year 2023–2024.

At the York Europe Campus Law School, she teaches the modules “General Law of Obligations”, “Composite Applications in Private Law”, “Law of Contracts and “Law of Torts” as part of the Undergraduate Program titled “Greek Law with Common Law”, the modules “Electronic Commerce and Legal Technology Law” and “Issues of Banking Law and Corporate Insolvency Law” as part of the Postgraduate Programme titled “Business Law” and the module “International Business Transactions” as part of the Postgraduate Program titled “LLM in European and International Business Law.”

Her research interests include Private Law, New Technologies (Blockchain, Smart Contracts, Artificial Intelligence), and Cybersecurity.

She is a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association, an Attorney admitted to practice before the Greek Court of Cassation (Areios Pagos), and a Legal Adviser to commercial enterprises.
