Dr. Chatzimpyros is a psychologist specializing in Social and Occupational Psychology. He earned his PhD in Social Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2014, focusing on health provision for immigrant patients and organizational assessment of the Greek health system. That same year, he was awarded a State Scholarship Foundation research grant and served as a research scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, conducting research on human rights, minorities, immigrant occupational health, and health services. He has collaborated with the University of Thessaly, Aristotle University, UC Berkeley, and the Technological University of Cyprus on issues of identity, immigration, and prejudice. He has taught psychology at several institutions, including the University of Thessaly, ASPAITE, the University of Applied Sciences of Thessaly, and Aristotle University.
Dr. Chatzimpyros is certified by the British Psychological Society in Occupational Testing and trained in CBT. His professional roles include consulting for the Greek Air Force Hospital, Spastics Society, and Larissa Prison’s second chance school.
