Dr. Nikos Tsorakidis is Associate Professor of Finance and Deputy Vice-President for External Engagement and Partnerships at the University of York Europe Campus. He holds a PhD in Finance from Aston University, UK, and has a strong background in academic leadership, having served as MBA Director at Hult International Business School, London, and led the launch of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David London Campus.
With over a decade of experience running a successful London-based summer study abroad programme, Dr. Tsorakidis has worked with top U.S. universities to provide students and faculty with immersive experiences in international business, British culture, and professional development. He has cultivated extensive global partnerships across Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and the U.S., significantly contributing to student mobility into UK higher education. Beyond academia, he co-founded Omegasail, a premier yacht charter company in Greece, reflecting his engagement with the tourism industry.
