Triantafyllos Pegios

Triantafyllos Pegios is a graduate with distinction from the Faculty of Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a PhD from the Faculty of Law of Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany, in the field of Civil Law within the framework of Capital Markets Law, as a scholar of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association. He provides consultancy services to law firms and notary offices. He also undertakes the preparation of candidates in Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law for the entrance examinations to the National School of Judges (civil and criminal justice stream) as well as for the notarial profession examinations. He is fluent in German, French, and English.

Within the framework of preparation for the entrance examinations to the National School of Judges (ESDi) and the examinations for the appointment of new notaries, he teaches Civil Law (General Principles, General Law of Obligations, Special Law of Obligations, Property Law, and Inheritance Law) and Civil Procedural Law (General Part, Law of Evidence, Legal Remedies, Special Procedures, Interim Measures, Voluntary Jurisdiction, and Enforcement Proceedings), while having concurrently developed supporting educational material (notes, outlines, practice cases with model solutions, Q&A material, and systematically processed case law arranged by article). As a senior undergraduate student, as well as a doctoral candidate, he also provided private tutorial courses at undergraduate level in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and European Union Law.

At the York Europe Campus Law School, he teaches the modules “Introduction to Law and legal Informatics”, “Law of Obligations I (General Part)”, “Law of Obligations II (Specific Part)” and “Composite Applications in Private Law” as part of the undergraduate program titled “Greek Law with Common Law”.
