Dr. Kelly is a Senior Lecturer in Supply Chains, Procurement, and Project Management at Salford Business School and a visiting MBA lecturer at the University of York Europe Campus. With over a decade of industry experience at Siemens, GEC, and the NHS, he brings a practitioner’s insight to academia. His research focuses on PSM skills, Industry 4.0, negotiation, gender-responsive procurement, and circular sourcing. He has published in leading journals including the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management and the International Journal of Operations & Production Management. Kelly has led EU-funded research projects and served as Vice-President of IPSERA, co-founding its Educator’s Workshop. He holds a PhD in Management Science from Lancaster University and is a Chartered Member of CIPS, Senior Fellow of the HEA, Fellow of the CMI, and a Certified Management & Business Educator. He has also held visiting faculty roles in France and Albania.
