Dr. Marianna Nazou holds a PhD in Private Law. She has been a lawyer since 2014. She holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in Civil Law, Civil Procedural Law and Labour Law from School of Law, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) She completed her Doctoral Dissertation, titled “Conflicts of Interest in Principal-Agent (and similar) relationships”, at the same University in 2023. During her doctoral studies, she was a scholarship recipient of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY- Greece).

She is admitted to the Larissa Bar Association and has been promoted to practice before the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos). She practices both litigation and advisory law, especially on Civil and Corporate Law.

She is a certified DPO Executive. She has participated as a lecturer in national and international conferences and seminars on Civil and Commercial Law topics. Her monographs, articles and studies have been published in legal journals.

As an Adjunct Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), she has independently taught Private Law courses, specifically “Banking Law,” “Special Issues in Commercial Companies,” and “Transport Law.” She has been responsible for developing teaching materials, conducting examinations, and supervising students’ work.

Since 2023, she has also been teaching at a private educational institution, preparing candidates for admission to the Civil and Criminal Justice track of the National School of Judges, delivering seminars in Family Law.

At the York Europe Campus Law School, she teaches the modules “Family Law”, “Medical Law and Bioethics” and “Commercial Law II (Securities and Insolvency Law)” as part of the Undergraduate Program titled “Greek Law with Common Law”, the modules “Legal Issues of Legal Entities” and “ESG and Modern Entrepreneurship” as part of the Postgraduate Programme titled “Business Law” and the module “Corporate Governance and ESG Compliance” as part of the Postgraduate Program titled “LLM in European and International Business Law.”
