Makrina Choidou is an attorney-at-law specializing in Civil Law. She obtained her Law Degree from the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, pursued postgraduate studies in Transnational and European Economic Law, Mediation, Arbitration and Energy Law at the International Hellenic University (2016), and was awarded her Doctorate in Law with distinction from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2019, as a scholar of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). She maintains her own
law practice, acts as legal counsel to major corporations, and has taught Labour and Commercial Law at the International Hellenic University. She is an active member of the Laboratory for the Study of
Transparency, Corruption and Financial Crime at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, has collaborated with the Research Committee of ELKE AUTH, and has authored monographs as well as numerous publications in leading legal journals.
