Konstantinos V. Pliatsikas

Dr. Konstantinos Pliatsikas holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also holds a master’s degree in civil law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the same institution. His doctoral dissertation, titled “Correction of Inaccurate First Cadastral Registration – A Contribution to the Interpretation of Article 6§2 of Law 2664/1998”, is currently in its second edition.
He is a practicing lawyer in Thessaloniki (admitted to the Supreme Court). Dr. Pliatsikas has participated as a speaker and contributor in numerous national conferences on Civil and Civil Procedural Law, focusing especially on Property and Cadastral Law. He has also published numerous studies and commentaries on judicial decisions.

After obtaining his Doctoral Degree, from January 2019 until September 2023, he taught Property Law and Inheritance Law, as well as Cypriot Inheritance Law within the framework of the Undergraduate Studies Programs at the University of Nicosia, while having exclusive responsibility for the preparation and development of educational material, the preparation and conduct of exams for the above courses. Finally, as a doctoral candidate, and also as a doctorate holder, he actively participated in graduate-level courses in the Department of Civil, Civil Procedure and Labour Law of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing on Property Law and primarily Land Registry Law.

At the Law School of York Europe Campus, he teaches the modules “Property Law – National Land Registry Law” “Inheritance Law,” and “Composite Applications in Private Law” as part of the undergraduate program titled “Greek Law with Common Law”.

Civil and Civil Procedural Law, with a particular emphasis on Property, Inheritance, and Cadastral Law.
