I am Chief Executive of the development consultancy Market Echoes and Director of MBA Programmes at the University of Edinburgh Business School. I teach marketing, strategy, and executive education across multiple business schools in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. My career spans entrepreneurship and leadership roles in sectors such as tourism (Eurocamp, including MBO/IPO), leisure (Royal Armouries Museum/PFI), consultancy, and academic programme design. I have received the TiasNimbas Distinguished Teaching Award twice (2005, 2010) and authored Excellence in Business School Teaching. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the effects of the 2008 financial crisis on corporate reputation. I have held non-executive roles with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, ABTA, AITO, and the Bradford Chamber of Commerce. As a media commentator, I have appeared on BBC Breakfast, Newsnight, Radio 4’s Today, and several other national and local platforms.
