Ioannis Demelis

Ioannis Demelis holds a Bachelors in Computer Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering and Telecommunications from the University of Sheffield. He has been a part-time Lecturer at the Computer Science Department of the University of York Europe Campus since 2019. For the past decade, he has been focusing on delivering business critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security by leading backend engineering teams and individually contributing to a multitude of projects. Mr. Demelis’s interests are in the areas of Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Distributed testing

Mr. Demelis is currently the Head of Engineering for BetAdvanced, a platform as a service provider for the iGaming industry.
