Petros Golitsis

Dr. Golitsis is an Assistant Professor in Economics, Econometrics, and Statistics, and a Research Associate at the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC), contributing to EU-funded projects such as BORDEUR and MORE. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Sheffield Management School and an Associate Member of the Centre for Applied Finance and Economics at Birmingham City University.

Dr. Golitsis has presented at major international conferences and serves as a peer reviewer for leading journals, including Applied Economics, Financial Innovation, and the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Greece, Bulgaria, and across multiple European cities through international MBA programmes in collaboration with the University of York and the University of Strasbourg. His teaching and research span macroeconomics, financial economics, and applied econometrics, underpinned by extensive international academic and professional engagement.
