Faye Ververidou holds an LL.M. with distinction in Public International and European Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2017, she has a Researcher and Project Manager at the South East European Research Centre (SEERC), University of York Europe Campus, where she contributes to the design, implementation and coordination of a wide range of European research Her research lies at the intersection of European Union law, international human rights law, and migration and asylum law, with particular focus on gender equality, EU enlargement and geopolitical developments in South-East Europe, and democratisation. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and regularly participates in international academic conferences. She is admitted to the Thessaloniki Bar Association and she is teaching at the University of York Europe Campus.

Faye Ververidou has been teaching law since 2019 in the Department of Business Administration at the University of York Europe Campus. She is module leader for the courses Introduction to Business Law and Current Issues in Business Law, including delivery within international collaborative programmes with the Romanian American University (Bucharest) and the New Bulgarian University (Sofia). Her teaching integrates contemporary pedagogical approaches and case-based learning to support the development of students’ analytical and legal reasoning skills.

At the York Europe Campus Law School, she also teaches European Union Law within the undergraduate programme Greek Law with elements of English Law.
