Anna Tsiftsoglou

Dr Anna Tsiftsoglou is an Assistant Professor of Public Law in the Department of Law, with extensive teaching and research experience in higher education in Greece and abroad. She is also a practicing lawyer specialized in public law.

Dr Tsiftsoglou currently teaches the following courses:

  • Constitutional Law Ι (Constitutional Theory – State Organization)
  • Constitutional Law ΙΙ (Human Rights Law)
  • Composite Applications in Public Law
  • EU Law of Internal Market (Master’s)

Anna’s research interests lie in the broader field of public law, particularly in the judicial review of constitutionality of laws and judicial protection of human rights before supreme and supranational courts. During the last decade, her research has attracted significant funding, inter alia, by the National Bank of Greece (Hellenic Observatory, London School of Economics), Princeton University, U.S.A. (Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies) and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Excellence Scholarship of the University Research Committee).
