Anna M. Chrysochoidou

Anna Chrysohoidou holds a PhD in International Law from the Law School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her thesis, titled “Return and Restitution of Cultural Property”, was published as a monograph (Nomiki Vivliothiki, 2019).
She is a member of Thessaloniki Bar Association, currently qualified to practice before the Hellenic Supreme Court (Areios Pagos). She has experience on litigation and advisory practice with emphasis on corporate law, banking law, and civil law. She has served for eight consecutive years as an Academic Associate in the postgraduate law Programmes of the International Hellenic University (IHU), undertaking teaching, research, scientific, and administrative responsibilities. She has participated as a speaker and organizer in conferences and workshops held in both Greek and English.

She has eight years of teaching experience with independent teaching responsibilities, serving as an Academic Associate in the postgraduate law Programmes of the International Hellenic University (IHU), in the fields of Public International Law, Private International Law, and European Union Law. She has served on diploma/thesis evaluation committees as a supervisor and as a member.

At the York Europe Campus Law School, she teaches the modules “Public International Law”, “European Union Law”, “Law of the Sea” and “Academic English, Law Research and Communication Skills” as part of the undergraduate program titled “Greek Law with Common Law” and the module “Research and Writing Skills” as part of the postgraduate program titled “LLM in European and International Business Law”.
