Dr. Prodromidou is an Assistant Professor in the Business Administration and Economics Department at the University of York Europe Campus, and a Research Associate at the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC). She holds a PhD in Russian Studies from the University of Birmingham and has previously lectured at the Universities of Birmingham, Leicester, and Nottingham Trent. Her teaching focuses on European Union politics, international relations, corporate social responsibility, and academic skills.

Dr. Prodromidou is actively involved in research projects related to migration, energy policy, and political economy, including the Horizon 2020 MIGREC project, the Jean Monnet Network BORDEUR, and World Bank’s INTEGRATE initiative. She has coordinated and contributed to multiple Erasmus+ projects and collaborated with institutions such as Panteion University and the University of Manchester on issues of energy poverty. Her research interests include Southeast European migration, Russian energy policy, EU energy security, and Greek politics.
