The Library’s collections encompass Greek and international legal literature in print and electronic formats, with electronic resources providing access to an extensive array of legal information resources. The collections are regularly updated to reflect the ongoing developments in legal scholarship and practice.

Law Collections

Types of Collections
  • Module Reserves: a curated selection of textbooks, articles, and resources recommended for study, supporting course learning and further material for analysis, study, and research.
  • Academic Textbooks: a selection of books and other materials available for loan, covering core and supplementary topics within the curriculum and legal studies.
  • Codes and Commentaries: collections of legal codes and interpretative works analyzing legislation and case law.
  • Legal Journals: academic journals covering diverse fields of law, providing updates on legislation, case law, and legal theory.
  • Reference Tools: materials offering definitions, terms, and explanations of legal concepts and terminology, supporting the study and understanding of the legal language.
  • E-books: full-text electronic books covering various legal fields.
  • Electronic Databases: digital resources, including Sakkoulas Online, Qualex, Nomos, and University of York Law Resources, providing access to legislation, case law, legal articles, and other scholarly materials to facilitate efficient research in a modern legal environment.
Library Services

A full suite of academic support services is available to all members of the university community:
  • Borrowing privileges for academic materials and personal study.
  • Training sessions on effective use of the Library and its electronic resources.
  • Support for bibliographic and legal research activities.
  • Interlibrary Request and Document Delivery Services.
  • Provision of open access legal information sources.

Facilities and Study Spaces

The Library offers a variety of spaces designed to support individual study, group collaboration, and digital engagement:

  • Quiet study desks and well-equipped reading rooms.
  • Project rooms and collaborative workspaces.
  • Networked computers with access to academic software and internet.
  • High-speed wireless connectivity throughout the premises.
  • Printing, scanning, and photocopying facilities.

Location and Contact

The Law Library is located on the 6th floor of the Sofou Building and is open Monday to Friday, 10:00–20:00, and Saturdays, 09:00–14:00.
