Students from the School of Business at the University of York Europe Campus had the opportunity to gain valuable insight into contemporary Human Resource Management practices through a guest lecture delivered by Christina Dimatati, Head of HR GS Greece at Kuehne+Nagel.

The session formed part of the Human Resource Management module led by Dr Giovanni Serafini, Associate Professor at the Business School, and featured discussion on key aspects of modern HR leadership within a global organisation.

Guided by the principle “Inspire. Empower. Deliver.”, Ms Dimatati discussed the alignment of people strategy with organisational performance, while highlighting the practical realities, challenges, and responsibilities of HR professionals in today’s business environment.

The event was coordinated by the Career, Employability and Enterprise Centre, reflecting the University’s continued commitment to connecting academic learning with industry practice and strengthening students’ employability.
