Dr. Zenon Michaelides is a Reader in Business Analytics with Digital Business transformation , Logistics and Supply Chain Management, e-Business Strategy, eBusiness Models, Enterprise systems and SAP at The University of Liverpool Management School, UK. He was a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Engineering, The University of Liverpool, UK. He is a Chartered Engineer, CEng (Engineering Council, UK) and Member of The Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS). Dr. Michaelides has also got extensive working experience. He was Lead Engineer for The Boeing Commercial Airplane Company, Seattle, USA; Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development, Denel Aviation, South Africa; Manager of Production Engineering and Process Engineering, Atlas Aviation, South Africa; Chief Engineer for Athens Aviation Services, Greece; Aircraft Engineer, Falcon Flying Services, Kent, UK. I am Deputy Head of Research Ethics and Governance in the Faculty of Business and Law and a member of SAP UK Universities Alliance Programme supporting SAP S4HANA, AWS and Celonis Academic Partner Programmes.
As a Reader in Business Analytics, and active researcher in the areas of digital transformation, business analytics, supply chain optimisation and enterprise management he has now published more than 30 peer-reviewed academic journal papers and international conference proceeding publications, and also presented a TedX talk on Cloud Computing for Enterprise.
He has an extensive consultancy portfolio including SMEs and leading global 500 companies in areas of Digital Business Transformation, Enterprise Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management. He also have over 15 years’ experience in consultancy and certification projects including SAP ERP and SAP S4HANA, in new product development, production planning, sales and distribution, materials management, warehousing and logistics, and several others.
He’s also leading and participating in several knowledge transfer partnerships, with a combined value exceeding £1.2 mil.
