Αφεντούλα Μαυροδή

Η Δρ. Αφεντούλα Μαυροδή εντάχθηκε στο University of York Europe Campus το 2020. Οι κύριες αρμοδιότητές της περιλαμβάνουν την εποπτεία της ακαδημαϊκής ακεραιότητας, την ανάπτυξη του προγράμματος σπουδών, τον συντονισμό της διδακτικής ομάδας, τη φοιτητική εμπειρία και τον στρατηγικό προσανατολισμό του προγράμματος. H Δρ. Αφεντούλα Μαυροδή σπούδασε Λογιστική και Χρηματοοικονομική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας στη Θεσσαλονίκη, και αποφοίτησε πρώτη στο έτος της. Έλαβε το μεταπτυχιακό της (MSc in International Health Management) από το Imperial College Business School του Λονδίου με Άριστα, αποφοιτώντας με την καλύτερη συνολική επίδοση στο έτος της (2011). Ολοκλήρωσε το διδακτορικό της στη Δοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας. Η διδακτορική της έρευνα, για την οποία έλαβε υποτροφια αριστείας από το ‘Ιδρυμα Ωνάση, εστίασε στα οικονομικά της υγείας. Έχει εργαστεί στο Λονδίνο ως αναλύτρια συμβουλευτικής επιχείρησης στον φαρμακευτικό κλάδο και ως οικονομολόγος υγείας σε ιδιωτικούς και δημόσιους φορείς στη Γερμανία και στην Ελλάδα, στο πλαίσιο προγραμμάτων χρηματοδοτούμενων από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή (“Renewing Health” και “United4Health”). Έχει δημοσιεύσει άρθρα σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά με κριτές (peer-reviewed journals) όπως τα Applied Economics, Journal of Patient Safety and Risk Management, Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health. Έχει διατελέσει κριτής σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά, όπως το BMJ Open και το Value in Health. Από το 2015 είναι κριτής ερευνητικών εργασιών για τα συνέδρια του ISPOR (International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research) και έχει παρουσιάσει ερευνητικές της εργασίες σε διεθνή συνέδρια.
