Κωνσταντίνα Χατζάρα

Dr. Konstantina Chatzara is the Scientific Director of NOUS (Institute of Digital Learning & Communication). Since 1994, she has worked on interactive multimedia projects in London and Thessaloniki. She has taught multimedia and human-computer interaction at Greek universities and ATEI since 2002. She designed five technology-based information centers in Greece and contributed to various European IT and media projects. She has also participated in e-learning research at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI), Centre for Research and Technology – Hellas.

She holds a Ph.D. in Emotional Multimedia Agents in E-learning Systems (University of Thessaly), an MA (University of Middlesex, London), and a first-class honors BA in Interactive Multimedia (University of Westminster, London). A founding member of the Social Pedagogy Professional Association (UK), her research interests include human-computer interaction, affective computing, personalized e-learning, digital storytelling, and the use of digital technologies in pedagogy, art, and science. She is also a journal reviewer and published author.
