Ο Καπούλας εντάχθηκε στο Europe Campus το 2007. Αυτή τη στιγμή είναι Διευθυντής Έρευνας του Τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων και Οικονομίας και Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής. Προηγουμένως, υπηρέτησε ως Ακαδημαϊκός Διευθυντής Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών. Πριν ενταχθεί στο University of York Europe Campus, ήταν Επικεφαλής Τμήματος Επιχειρήσεων στο North College, συνεργαζόμενο κολλέγιο του Πανεπιστημίου του Ηuddersfield, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Ο Καπούλας έχει επίσης εργαστεί για πέντε χρόνια στη Σχολή Επιχειρήσεων του Πανεπιστημίου του Derby, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, όπου δίδαξε σε μαθήματα μάρκετινγκ και διοίκησης σε όλα τα επίπεδα.
