Undergraduate students from the School of Business of the University of York Europe Campus recently visited KLEEMANN’s manufacturing facilities in Kilkis as part of an experiential learning visit connected to Human Resource Management studies, led by Dr Giovanni Serafini, Associate Professor at the Business School.

The visit offered students the opportunity to connect classroom learning with the realities of a leading Greek multinational company. Founded in Kilkis and now operating in more than 100 countries, KLEEMANN provided students with valuable insight into how international growth is supported by innovation, quality, safety, and a people-centred organisational culture.
During the visit, students toured the company’s facilities and participated in an open discussion with members of the Human Resource Management team. The experience enabled them to gain practical insight into talent development, employee wellbeing, professional growth, and continuous improvement in a modern business environment.

Particular emphasis was placed on KLEEMANN’s core values – Safety, Trust, Passion for People, and Breakthrough Culture – which offered students a meaningful perspective on how Human Resource Management is implemented in practice through organisational culture, leadership, systems, and everyday professional interactions.
Visits such as this reflect the University of York Europe Campus’ commitment to experiential and industry-connected learning, helping students develop a deeper understanding of contemporary business practice and professional environments.
