The International Advisory Board serves as a key platform to enhance advice and greater communication between University of York Europe Campus and leaders in the wider region and beyond. Through this collaborative structure, the Board's aim is to support Europe Campus's vision to “…be a leading International Institution, achieving excellence and making a difference in South-East and Eastern Europe and the wider world…”, while providing policy advice, and networking with academia, researchers, policy makers, business leaders, and societal actors. International Advisory Board members also provide Europe Campus staff with information, insight, and guidance regarding key issues of importance as part of a dialogue on how University of York Europe Campus can best pursue Academic Excellence in Teaching, Research and Societal Engagement.
The International Advisory Board is composed of up to 15 individuals from:
Terms for Board members shall be four years. Members may serve two (2) consecutive terms. In special circumstances and with the Executive Board’s approval, a member’s length of continuous service on the Board may be extended for a third term. Terms of Office for Board members (composition, number of members, terms of service, etc.) are subject to modification by the Executive Board.
